Hello and Welcome! I'm Neema - also known as Nakshatra (or formerly as Chandramukhi), which are my online aliases.

I'm 24 years old and currently live in the U.S.A (or if you prefer: currently studying Environmental Science in the States). However, I'm Indian by birth and a Canadian citizen.

While I'm interested in many things - My biggest passions are animals, books, graphic design and cinema (most especially Indian cinema)! I suppose sleeping and procrastination should also be included. Hehe. So chances are that this LJ will be mostly about these things.

This LJ serves two main purposes: to display my fan-art and graphic resources & to serve as a personal blog. If you're interested in my fan-art and/or my resources or perhaps feel that we have things in common and could be friends, then please feel free to friend and/or message me!

Over the Rainbow ... 4 Large Textures

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan | Special Feature: Icons, Banners & More!

Hello everyone! I think it's time I started being more active again. Hehe. ^_^ I've made a LOT of new fan-art over the last little while so I think I'll just post them sorted by which celeb they feature. It should be easier for everyone that way. =)

I'll be starting with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. There are over 200 icons altogether, over 100 signatures/banners and one wallpaper. I won't be posting them all here so please check out the gallery links posted at the end to view them all! =)

Kajol Devgan Special Feature: Icons, Banners & More!

Hello everyone!
I'm finally finished with the Kajol Devgan special feature!

There are over a 100 icons, over 40 signatures/banners and one wallpaper. I have a few more but they're not done -yet- and I don't have the time (nor the patience) to finish them right now ... I figure I'll never get them all done (or take a really long time doing it) so I'm posting whatever I have ... I'm not sure if anyone at all is going to use them (most of them look weird anyways - I'm only satisified with a few of them myself) ... but still, I've been meaning to make Kajol sigs for a while now... so that's why the 'special'. =)

If anyone wants to use them, please feel more than free to do so! Thanks!

Here we go ... !

Hey everyone! I've finally found the time to make a layout and hopefully can start being active here.

The new layout features two of my favourite actresses: Rani Mukherjee and Priyanka Chopra. What do you guys think of it?

Of course, it's not complete yet, but the basics are done (credit for the original layout code goes to

butterflybox). Actually, not yet - because although I tested it on another LJ account first and everything works fine there (shows up properly) ... a few things are missing here (the 'blurb' or the tags on the sidebar, for example) and I can't figure out what's wrong/why it won't work properly. The alternate names I've given for the navigation/etc won't show either. Grrr. =| And I've also got to put up a profile layout as well as post my credits & resources.

*Edited: Yay! It works... more or less.. now! =D

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my LJ! I'm still new at this so please bear with me. =p

Special Thanks to Divya and Jessica for helping set up my layout, etc! I'd have been totally lost without you guys!

Once I decide on a banner to use or theme to go for, I'll customize the layout and start posting here (along with new icons|graphics|etc)!
